Joe figured out how much money he can make buying and selling cars for profit. Joe is a neighbor of mine and the funny thing is that Joe really didn’t think it was even possible to make money buying and selling cars until he sold his old 1992 Nissan Sentra last summer. Joe already knew that I make good money when I buy and sell cars so before he went to sell his car, he came to me to ask what would be the best things he could do to his little Nissan to be able to sell it fast and for as much money as possible. Well, Joe isn’t a genius (and I’m not either!), but I told Joe what to do and surprisingly he did exactly what I said which is really cool since I’ve told many people over the years the same thing about how profitable buying and selling cars is and they did nothing with it. Anyway, to make a long story short, Joe sold his old car the second day his ad came out and to the second person that looked at it for about $900.00 more than what he thought he could sell it for.

Joe was stoked to make some extra cash from selling his old car!

A while later Joe told me that he really needed to talk to me about something important. “So whats the dealio Joe?” I asked. It was then that Joe proceeded to tell me that he had so much fun doing what I said to prepare his car for selling, and he had fun actually selling his car (especially when the buyer put a stack of 100 dollar bills in his hands!) that Joe now wanted to do the same thing I was doing from buying and selling used cars for profit. The problem is that Joe was afraid that he would be jeopardizing our friendship by doing that. He told me quite clearly that he wouldn’t do it unless I genuinely gave him my blessing. I appreciated that Joe was concerned about that since we were friends and neighbors and I also knew how much an extra $2000.00 to $3000.00 in cash per month would help Joe and his family. I told him there was no need to stress out because there was plenty of room for both of us to make lots of money buying and selling used cars for profit.

So I told Joe everything I knew about buying and selling cars for profit and now he’s doing the same thing as me in his spare time. He has his whole family involved in this little home business now too. He pays his kids a few bucks to prepare the cars and his wife fields phone calls from the ads when Joe is at his regular job. And he is happy to pay her some money for that too. I guess its been a good thing for Joe and his family because I watched the last Superbowl on his new 65″ flat screen TV and I’m feeding Joe’s cat and dog this week because Joe took the whole family to Lake Tahoe for a ski/snowboard trip.
